“ I'm all for giving credit when credit is due. And I'm full but want to eat again because it was so good. I was pretty hungry and thought The Early Bird Special wouldn't be enough, so ordered a short stack of buttermilk pancakes too. Mistake, but I'm pleased with it, and that's okay. Rarely do I not finish my food, and today is that rare occasion. I ate as much as I could, and I eat a lot, but couldn't find room for all of it. The pancakes are a Yes. The sausage is different, but good. It tastes better with the biscuit than the pancakes IMHO. The skillet potatoes were fried hard, but seasoned and good. The two eggs looked like four. Thank you! The bacon, which I ordered crispy, was so good. I'd definitely come back and order the same thing, even thought every plate I saw come out looked good. It has an old feel, but it's warm and inviting even thought it's cold out. Everyone I encountered was nice, smiled, patient with my first-timer questions, and looked LoL they actually like going on to work. I'll be back. ”
“ Everything was good. From the brief wait time to the story of the restaurant...and everything in between. Food: the early bird was everything and more. Crispy flavorful bacon, and moist chicken breast seasoned just right for a breakfast protein. The gravy was delicious and paired well with the flaky biscuit. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious. The sausage patty was huge and seasoned. The eggs were cooked well (we had fried and scrambled). Overall the food was AMAZING. Service: BLAKE (sp) was also an awesome addition to our brunch journey. He was witty and fast and gave great recommendations. He also was patient as we had several questions since it was our first time here. Atmosphere: I love a restaurant with a good story and this place has one. From the concrete tables to the colorful mural, it was great to hear about the founding owner and her resistant nature. We will definitely be back and if you're looking for a good breakfast/brunch check Ria's out. You will not be disappointed... unless you're just miserable . ”
“ I've been eating here since Ria opened the restaurant so I've had most of the breakfast menu multiple times. I'm currently on a tofu scramble kick because that vegan pesto has me in a chokehold. If I'm in town, I always have the banana pancakes for my birthday. It's my special treat. Honestly, this place makes the best pancakes in the world if you ask me. RIP Ria ”
“ Nice little local breakfast spot! Food is good/homemade but potatoes were overcooked (table next to us even asked for new serving) and the sausage had a kick to it. But the biscuits and gravy are really good! We didn't get to try the pancakes but may go back for those since they're so popular. Prices are good. We normally tip well anyway but note that they do automatically charge the 20% tip (no matter the size of your party or anything) to your receipt with option to add more. ”
“ This place is amazing if you can get a seat! Ria's is a very popular little restaurant across from Oakland Cemetery on Memorial Dr. I have tried just about everything on their menu and I haven't had anything that isn't perfect. It would take several paragraphs to describe each item that I have tried from the menu so I would just suggest working your way through it as you visit. The parking is small and tight but there is off-street parking for blocks around. Service is always great, location is awesome! Highly recommend. ”
“ I am so happy I decided to eat here during a conference in Atlanta. My hotel was a 20 minute drive but something told me it would be worth the trip. I also am thrilled I did this on a Monday because after falling for their food, I learned that they are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday so it was my only chance to try it before I fly home. This is to say: don't hesitate or you will miss out! The early bird special (no substitutions) was vegetarian friendly and a great amount of tasty food. We got the eggs scrambled medium and they were perfect. The fruit was fresh, the biscuit was tasty with the jam on the table. I would have liked some grits but wanted to be a bit more balanced. Side of kale rounded all of it out. And a delicious lavender latte to top it all off. The neighborhood is a lot of fun to walk around if you like street art, and I felt like I tasted Atlanta's culture with this as a great first stop. ”

“ It's sadly been far too long since I've been to Ria's Bluebird, but I'd love to return again soon. Of course every time I went, I couldn't pass up the pancakes. The first thing that drew me here was the fact that the New York Times voted them "the world's best pancakes." And in my opinion, they live up to the title. They are fluffy and delicious, and served with real maple syrup (I'm a syrup snob--I hate the fake stuff). One of my all-time favorites was when they had the special pancakes with macerated strawberries, whipped cream, and honeycomb brittle (February 2022). As a special note: make sure to show up before open because there will already be a line to get in! ”
